A Thanksgiving Cranberry Wobbler gelatin mold: This year, when they come home for turkey dinner, give it some bounce
For a salad to live up to your holiday cooking, it should do more than just sit there. it should bounce, wobble, shimmer and shine. It should be a Jell-O brand gelatin salad.
Serve a Cranberry Wobbler gelatin mold as a Thanksgiving side dish
Cranberry Wobbler (1979)
Yield: 12
Cook Time: 6 hours
Total Time: 6 hours
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups ground fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 ounces Jell-O orange or lemon flavor gelatin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1-1/2 cups cold water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1 orange, sectioned and diced
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds or walnuts
Instructions
- Combine cranberries and sugar and set aside.
- Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
- Add cold water, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves.
- Chill until thickened.
- Fold in cranberries, orange and nuts.
- Spoon into 6-cup mold.
- Chill until firm, about 6 hours.
